Hobbies
I used to do martial arts more seriously and actively, but I'm always happy to roll. I like cooking and traveling. I've developed a habit of seeking inspiration from the restaurants I dine at. I keep it simple. I currently drive a mk7 GTI, and I enjoy curving roads, perhaps a little too much.
Martial arts
Growing up, I did Japanese Jiu-Jitsu. Around the time I got my black belt, I spent more and more of my time doing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Now, as rusty as I am, I consider myself a novice at both.
Cooking
I got more serious about cooking as a hobby during covid. I now enjoy hosting elaborate dinners, and I cook as often as I can. Every Christmas, I make a Beef Wellington.
Traveling
I used to travel a lot as a kid growing up, but this has wound down over time. I still try to experience new things as much as I can. I have visited over thirty countries. One day, I would like that to be a hundred.

Cars and sim racing
My first car was a mk6 GTI, and in high school I got into sim racing, building myself a janky cockpit out of wood.
Maybe later in life I'll race more seriously, ideally the car my brother's company sponsors at the Nürburgring 24 Hours. In 2024 it crashed out at Flugplatz. In 2025 it came back to take the SP10 class win, reportedly the first at the Nürburgring 24 Hours for a Romanian team. More racing to come.
